Express-Rail Link, KLIA Express

Hey people,

I'm back from a trip to Kuala Lumpur this morning, via the night train from KL Sentral. Ah it feels good to be sleeping onboard the night sleeper train. I slept peacefully with the sound of the engine rumbling it's way through. It's my first experience taking an overnight train. Kudos to the train crew of the Ekspres Senandung Malam, Train no. 11.

Basically, I went to KL for a short holiday, just to spot trains and get new Tomy trains. Generally they are much cheaper in Malaysia, than in Singapore, but the currency difference is within a few dollars. But oh well, if tracks here cost about SGD$19.90, in Malaysia, when converted, it cost about SGD$5! A big difference!

Also, I went to the ERL (Express-Rail Link) train depot to learn more about railway stuffs and how operations are like. I will update more in a few days..

Alright people that's me, on the right side.

Been fascinated by trains since I was young. Fell in love with the episodes of Thomas and Friends. I grew up taking the SMRT trains, a commuter train operating in Singapore.

After that, I dared myself to look for more info, about the KTM (Keretapi Tanah Melayu) that comes in to Singapore, and stop it's journey at the station, near the town area, Tanjung Pagar.

Eversince them, I fell in love with the diesel locomotives. I've even have a ride from one place to another in the driving cab of the train!

This is the place, where I'll meet many more railway enthusiast, from around the world. Sharing is Caring.

Cool and i have noticed your in :D, don't forget to contribute some photos, your one of very little Non-American, Non-European railfans, helps with the variety in the gallery :)

Sure man, will contribute my photos in there.. Hahaha..

I know some railfans though in Singapore, but they don't seem to have the time to make a dA account or whatever.. Lol.. Hard to find railfans in Singapore, since there's no railway.. I mean, you don't see those diesel or steam loco around, but what you see are EMUs.. More of like a commuter service..

But there is though a station in which it's operated by the Malaysian railway operator, the starts near the town of Singapore, at Tanjung Pagar.. That's the only place where we could see diesel locomotives. Hahaha..
